Nick Issaris

Football coach

I started coaching at 23 in the small village where I grew up. It wasn’t just a job for me, it was the first step in following a dream that had been with me since I was a kid.

Football was always my passion, and back then, I didn’t know exactly where this journey would lead me. I just knew I wanted to give it everything I had. Leaving my hometown to chase opportunities wasn’t easy. I faced plenty of challenges along the way, limited resources, tough competition, and at times, self-doubt. But each challenge taught me something valuable, and slowly, I worked my way up to the professional level.

These experiences shaped not just my career, but who I am today. Over the years, I’ve taken on roles as head coach, assistant coach, sporting director, and football scout. Each role expanded my understanding of the game, and I’ve learned to see football through many perspectives.

What sets me apart is my global perspective. Working with different teams, circumstances, and styles of play has taught me how to adapt, build connections, and bring out the best in people. Even now, I’m driven by the same passion that got me started all those years ago. I stay committed to learning, growing, and improving, not just for myself, but for the teams I work with. My goal is always to make a positive impact, both on and off the pitch.
