Developing Game Model
The Game Model is shaped by the coach’s playing philosophy, including their view of the game, preferred style, and formation. It reflects their personal football perspective, independent of external factors.
A coach must consider factors like the team’s football culture, history, the timing of their appointment (e.g., start or end of the season,
relegation battles), and the quality of available players.
Based on these, the coach develops the Game Model.

Mentality & Skills

The Game Model is a plan that helps a team by setting clear behaviors the coach wants players to follow in various situations.
It adds structure and predictability to the game, aiming to impact the result.
The team’s Identity is shaped by how consistently these behaviors are applied.
The Game Model evolves over time through analysis and is organized into three parts: Game Phases, Team Scales, and Principles.
Microcycle Tapering Approach

Climb as high as possible to see the world, not for them to see you.
